This lovely little Church is still in existence and is located in Westchester County, New York. Please note that many of the surnames are misspelled by today's standards and for the most part these errors were left exactly as found. There were 61 pages from which the old records were transcribed, and date from 1752 to 1823, and are separated by headings of: MEMBERS, MARRIAGES, BAPTISMS, DEATHS. This is a free database with a search engine. To access these records go to: http://the-red-thread.net/south-salem-church.html

    3. Sure Judy, go to my website and I have them all detailed at bobaddleman.com and then click on Adams. We think John Adams (1765) was married twice. His known children are Elizabeth, Sarah, George, Caherine, Henry & John, Jr. His son George had 13 children: John, ebecca, Seth, Jacob, Isaac, Mary Anne, Elizabeth, Gerge, William, James, Rhoda, Sarah & Nancy. Any sound like yours? 1. John and His SisterRebecca Adams

    3. John and Rebecca Adams were children of Dr. Allensworth Adams and Elizabeth Sartain who lived in Robertson County, TX, in the middle 1800s. I have searched the census and found John living with his father in 1860 and have found nothing else on him or Rebecca. Allensworth came back to Kentucky after the Civil War with a different wife and younger children. Our family would like to know what happened to these two siblings. I have tried looking at the Rebeccas in the both the Kentucky and Texas census, but I do not know her correct age or her married name, so that causes problems. Is anyone researching a family that resembles this one? I would be glad to exchange information. Maxine

    3. I would be very interested in your line as my Adams should be from there. My MARLIN line came from there and were said to be friends/neighbors of the Adams but that the Elder Adams came over prior to 1820. I have no clue of who the ELDER would be. I only know the 3 boys names and their wives and a mystery Adams who's mother and father died young. They were all in the Chester S.C. area.
