We don't know for sure where William Kinney was born but he appears at age 27 in the 1860 census in Randolph County. Do you think this is just coincidence? She was the daughter of Arthur J. Jennings and Mary. She had sisters Bernice and Barton. She married Emil Adams. They had two children my grandfather Geo Jennings Adams Feb 22, 1903 in St. Louis Missouri and Mary Berenice Adams (?) Emil Adams was born in 1880 in Germany, the family came to the US in approx 1881, lived in Illinois (cook county). He had brothers Henry T. Adams, Oscar Adams, Otto Adams and a sister Ida Adams. Other states the family lived are Indiana, Missouri, Oklahoma, & Texas. I am willing to share information. Any help is greatly appreciated. Looking for Abraham Adams, brother to David B 1783, Jones Co. NC-- Father to both Abraham and David was William Adams b 1765 caVA, and mother Mary Gooden Adams.William and Mary Adams left North Carolina with David and Rachel Koonce Adams and traveled to Tennessee. In 1820's David and grown sons moved on to Missouri. Abraham Adams moved on to Texas. In 1925 Miss Laura Adams, of Texas, who said she was the granddaughter of Abraham Adams, who was a brother of David, sent a letter to Dr John R Adams, of Goodland, Iron Co. Missouri ( David's grandson) giving the information about the relationship between David and Abraham. Would like to establish contact with this branch of the Adams family, for genealogical purposes.
