    3. Hello anyone out there! I just joined this list, but noticed already that there are no records posted to the archive since 2001 - and only one mail at that time. That either means that this is a very very quiet list, or perhaps that something is wrong with the archive. I recall all lists looked like that during the relatively recent listserv 2 downtime problems - just wondering if this one hasn't been reinstated since then - but best way to find out seems to be to send some mail and see what happens. So here are details of my current ACOTT brick wall. I'm interested in Hannah born 14 Jan 1808 in Coleshill in Wiltshire apparently somewhere quite near to Swindon. Her father is John ACOTT married to a Hannah TICHENER. He subsequently went on to marry a Martha BEECHEY. I'm OK for her first marriage to my ancestor John TYRRELL of Highworth in Wilts, but John died young in 1833 at age of only 33, and she subsequently married a Richard KEMBLE on 27 Dec 1834. The problems come with trying to trace her through the various census entries after that: I don't have access to the 1841 so if anyone has information on where she might have been at that time I'd be pleased to see it. Of course she would be Hannah KEMBLE by that time. I understand she was at HIghworth on the 51 census, but haven't got access to view it myself. She was apparently living at Faringdon Road. I haven't access to find her on the 61 census either. Does anyone have access to this census for Wiltshire? The 71 for this area has just appeared on Ancestry, but the only suitably named/aged person I find was shown as 68 while from the other information I have I was expecting her to be 63, so I am not reliably sure it is her. They definitely had a son Robert KEMBLE in 1840 according to the 1851 census, and may have had a daughter Mary Ann KEMBLE in 1847 - but again, not sure as don't have birth certificate at this time - there is a Mary Ann present on the entry I found on the 71. - but there might have been two Mary KEMBLEs in the area. I can't even find her on the 1881 at all. She died in 1888 so she won't be on any later census. Is anyone else researching this ACOTT line and has further information? Joyce
