Joseph LeBlanc (Jacques/Elizabeth-Isabelle Boudreau) and Marie Madelein Melanson (Paul/Marie Terriot)along with their children, Anselme, Marie Madeleine,Etienne (Richard),Marguerite, Isabelle,Charles, Jean Baptiste, and an unnamed daughter were interned at Sutton MA. The family was still intact on the 26th of June 1761, when they left Sutton MA. Have found nothing on this family again until 1776 when Etienne is mentioned in Quebec joining the Continental Army and further marries in Yamachiche Quebec in 1778. Joseph is listed on various websites with no sources as dying in Soulanges Quebec before 1778. While Joseph is listed as deceased at Etienne's 1778 marriage, I beleive that the place of Soulanges is incorrect as I have found nothing to back this up in Quebec records. As no one of this familty other then Etienne is listed on Quebec records, it is my thinking that the family may have gone back to the Maritimes, the West Indies, France or Louisiana, would anyone have such marriage records for the period 1760's-1770's that might give a clue to where the family may have gone from MA. Sorry for the long message, Wishing everyone on the list a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year Monte LeBlanc
