Several LeBlanc Listers contacted me last night after my post and want to make a donation for Daniel LeBlanc’s monument. I have received this address from Hector LeBlanc who lives in Nova Scotia and has been heading up the monument drive: All donations should be sent to: L'Association des Le Blanc de la Nouvelle Ecosse Inc., P.O.Box 152 Church Point N.S. B0W 1M0. They should make the check payable to Daniel Le Blanc Monument Fund. Thank you very very much. I went to the lawyer yesterday and he got some information and he told me he was going to write the lease in the afternoon. [This is a lease that will allow the LeBlanc Family Association to place the monument on the land once owned by our Ancestors Daniel LeBlanc and Françoise Gaudet.] When Relie LeBlanc of Louisiana was still alive, he had planned to purchase the land which had been up for sale. Unfortunately, Relie passed and nobody else has had the resources to take this up. However, a monument on that land is as important as anything that could be done at this point.
