Hi, I copied the problem to half the AOL members on the list. Another half hasn't seen it yet. But yesterday RootsWeb was able to talk to AOL and things should be fixed soon. RootsWeb changed IP's a couple of days ago, so the route that AOL had "whitelisted" so RootsWeb could go though was no longer valid. They did not recognized RootsWeb mail and blacklisted it. The yellow box at the helpdesk has an explanation of the problem. http://helpdesk.rootsweb.com/help.cgi The first paragraph refers to AOL. It was place there at the request of admins who had been referring people to the second story titled dns: 2004-01-27. The last paragraph explains what happened. AOL users are not the only ones affected but are by far the most visible group involved.
