Hi Everybody, To add to what Maurice has posted, we arrived at this couple when Maurice found the marriage of my great uncle Laurent/Lawrence LeBlanc to Delphine Saulnier posted on the LDS site. If anybody on this list is related to this family, I would love to hear from you. I had been searching for this great uncle for years thinking on occasion that he had not lived to adulthood - however, not having proof of that, I continued to search. Delphine was born in New Brunswick - I am still searching for her birth/baptismal record. Thanks to Maurice's collaborative effort it all came together. Maurice also pointed me to the 1901 census where we find this family with their children - two of which were born in the U.S.A. There we also found my other great uncle Phocas LeBlanc and his family who was originally the object of my search. Just a bit of proof that we should never give up and that when people collaborate more things can happen than not. The hunt is the fun of the search but the find is certainly the prize! Benoni Saulnier married Louise Gauvin on Feb. 8, 1858 in St Anselme, NB. Benoni' s parents: Remi Saulnier and Judith Thibodeau. Louise Gauvin's parents: Laurent Gauvin and Madeleine Bourque. This was a cooperative effort. I found the marriage listed in Michael Roberge's database at Rootsweb, then Lucie was able to confirm in the St Anselme parish register. Many thanks to Michael for posting his data - only 94 entries, but oh so useful.
