Hi.... I've found some discrepancy as far as the parents of Elizabeth (or Isabelle) Bourg, m. ca. 1749 to Ambroise Naquin. Their descendants ended up in SE Louisiana (Lafourche Parish). Most sources say that she was the daughter of Claude Bourg and Judith Guerin, but I've found a couple of sites which say she was the daughter of Francois Bourg and Madeleine Hebert. One source with the latter information says that it is proven by the marriage record of Alain Bourg, son of Francois and Madeleine Hebert, in which Ambroise Naquin is referred to as Alain's "brother in law." Does anyone know what is the correct lineage for Elizabeth? How does Stephen White weigh in on the subject? Thanks.... Gordon
