    3. Salut! Hi! I am looking for the parents of Pierre CLOUATRE who married Marguerite LEBLANC in 1722. I am descended from Madeleine CLOUATRE, b. 17 Apr 1731, who married Charles BOUDROT (b. 14 Jun 1734 to Claude & Catherine HEBERT) in 1756, who I have as Pierre & Marguerite's daughter. I have Marguerite LEBLANC's parents as Andre LEBLANC & Anne-Marie DUGAS. Merci beaucoup! ~~Bren "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result" -- Albert Einstein "A fool makes the same mistakes because he never learns from them; a smart man learns from his mistakes; but a wise man learns from the mistakes of others." -- (If someone hasn't said it already, then I just did). --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!? 3. Hi Brenda, Charles Boudrot was my 5th great-granduncle. His sister, Elisabeth [Isabelle] m. Etienne LeBlanc. They arrived in La, in 1765. Marguerite LeBlanc, mother of Madeleine Clouatre died 4/19/1782 in Iberville Parish, La. Marguerite LeBlanc was my 6th great-grandaunt via the Boudrot line. She was also the 1st cousin of Etienne LeBlanc, my 5th great-grandfather. Her father Charles was the brother of Etienne's father Rene. SAW shows that Marguerite's husband was Pierr Clouatre but he doesn't give the parents. Please send me your line from Charles Boudrot and Madeleine Clouatre. 3. Hi Bren, According to Stephen White in the Dictionnaire genealogique des familles acadiennes, page 1004, the parents of Marguerite LeBlanc who married Pierre Clouatre [Cloistre] were Charles LeBlanc and Marie Gautreau who married Abt 1705. Charles was the son of Antoine LeBlanc and Marie Bourgeois who married Abt 1681 and Antoine was the son of Daniel LeBlanc and Francoise Gaudet. The parents of Pierre Clouatre are unknown.
