I have a Carriere/Derbonne connection for which a lot of the pieces seem to be missing. Can anyone help? What I have is Onezime Carriere, b. 1828, son of Onezime Carriere (pere) and Eliza Sonnier. I can't seem to place Eliza Sonnier; some of the records I've found list her as Soigne, and I wonder if she wasn't from the Acadian Sonnier/Saulnier line? Onezime (fils) married Zeline Derbonne -- can't find a marriage record for them, and I don't have Zeline's parents' names. They had six children, and I don't have a birth or baptismal record for a single one. I have them as Onezime, Melisa, Anastasie, Pierre Onezime, Eurasie, and Joseph Adam Carriere.
