    3. I have a copy of Ursule Bourg's marriage to Sylvain LeBlanc dit Sailor in which it names her parents as Michel Bourg and Ursule Forest. No membership is ever approved without proof of lineage to the Patriot ancestor. I was focusing on Sylvain LeBlanc [like Andy says the female lines are often overlooked!] About when was Ursule Bourg [Bourque] born? I was talking about your post a long time ago re your LeBlanc line. There is no birth date for Sylvain LeBlanc dit Sailor - what we do know is that he died before 1856. So I've no idea where the 1772 date comes from as it does not come from me and is not in my database. His parents were married abt 1771 and there were eleven children and he was not the oldest child born to them. As stated in my original post my membership is to Michel Bourg/Bourque who fought under Colonel Jonathan Eddy of Massachusetts in an effort to retake Fort Cumberland from the British - here is the post made earlier this week: << I have just received word that my application for membership in the Daughters of the American Revolution has been approved at National Headquarters in Washington, D.C. ***My lineage goes back to Michel Bourg and Ursule Forest. Their daughter Ursule married my gggrandfather Sylvain LeBlanc dit Sailor.****>> My Patriot ancestor is Michel Bourg who married Ursule Forest. Their daughter Ursule married Sylvain LeBlanc dit Sailor and that is my connection. According to your profile that you posted on the list, Firmin married in 1771 and Sylvain was born about 1772.
