Hi Margy and Cousins on the A-C List, I leave home tomorrow headed to England and France until August 16th. I will be thinking of all of you especially in the land of our Ancestors. I have a set of grandparents on my Mother's side of the family who were married in Paris in the 1600s at the church of St-Nicolas des Champs. The church is still there and is an active parish. We will visit the church and take photos. Of course the church was rebuilt a good many years ago but to go there knowing that it was in this place that some of our Ancestors married before going to Quebec is very exciting. After I send this message to the A-C list, I am offline until my return August 16th. Best wishes to all - I will have much information and photos to post when I return.
