Afternoon Gordon, In the DOBR, v. 18, p. 493 is shown: Myrtile NAQUIN [parents not shown] m. 19 Mar 1891 Laura AYO [parents not shown], witnesses were Philip NAQUIN; Anatole NAQUIN; S.D. HAYDEL [SPH-11,22] Then in Southwest Louisiana Record, D. Hebert, v. 9, p. 392 is shown the civil marriage on 17 Mar 1891 to Laura AYO [Thib. Ct. Hse.: Mar. v.31, #90]. What is interesting about this is looking at a map of Louisiana Thibodaux is southeast of Labadieville, probably a morning ride apart in those days. Hope this helps a little, but I know you are looking for parents and this is not much - but it is a clue.
