I have just received word that my application for membership in the Daughters of the American Revolution has been approved at National Headquarters in Washington, D.C. My lineage goes back to Michel Bourg and Ursule Forest. Their daughter Ursule married my gggrandfather Sylvain LeBlanc dit Sailor. At the National meeting in October I will be assigned a membership number and my certificate will then be sent. ;o) Lucie LeBlanc Consentino AFC RootsWeb Administrator Acadian-French-Canadian Mailing List <mailto:ACADIAN-FRENCH-CANADIAN-L-request@rootsweb.com> ACADIAN-FRENCH-CANADIAN-L-request@rootsweb.com Acadian & French-Canadian Ancestral Home <http://www.acadian-home.org/frames.html> www.acadian-home.org/frames.html
That's terrific, Lucie, I'm so happy for you. (I know, I know, I'm just a lurker, but am new to this and trying to get a grip on which of my ancestors are Arcadian and which are F-C.)
