I think that I misunderstood the question in my previous response. I thought that you wewre referring to the Arch-Diocese of New Orleans but I realize that you were asking about the post re the Univ. Of Notre Dame Archives. The Arch-Diocese of New Orleans records in the UND archives are the church records. The marriage dispensations are inlcuded because they were church records. It is a tedious process to navigate the site! This is why professional historians and genealogists have spent years researching the records and extracting pertinent records by subject matter such as the marriage dispensations. The marriage dispensations are "all" dispensations - not just the Acadian ones. The Acadian ones have been extracted. I found some of the info facinating such as the priest who complains that his wine barrel was full of worm holes and the accusation that a priest in the Illinois Region was claiming to have credentials that were proven to be false!
