Hello listers, thanks for any attention you can give this. I am helping a lady with her genealogy and she said that she is descended from an American Indian by the name of Jean Claude Landry who married Marie Salle about 1651 in PR. I assume this is the Jean Claude that I found in DGFA p. 361. I do not read French and so don't quite understand White's notes. I see that Marie Salle later married Francois Bourg. And that it appears that there are no identified children of the first marriage. If anyone has researched this line and can comment on whether or not this lady can be descended from this couple I would appreciate it. Thanks,\ Doug Miller [email protected]
