Ms. Patricia "Pat" Resweber one of the two founders of the Acadian Memorial has just been diagnosed with inoperable lung cancer. In realizing that this is the only Memorial dedicated to the Acadians worldwide and without her vision of the Memorial there possibly would not be an Acadian Memorial dedicated to our ancestors.
