Can anyone tell me more or refer me to where Id find informaiton about how someone would have gotten to Minnesota in 1850's. Looking to see if anyone can direct me. I have Magloire & Anasasie Huot [married in 1857 polk country] then in Northern Maine in 1902. Could anyone tell me where I would be able to find a researcher for this period? I think they moved to Canada but am unable to place them from 1860-1900. Magloire was listed as being born in Canada, maybe quebec along with the h uots. I had a relative tell me that his fathers name was Felix Cote & Delihite Lizotte?. Felix's father was Joseph Cote [from france] and Aussie Euob [from Germany]? If this is true, then as researchers say, not all Cote's in the Us are descended from Jean Coste. Paul Cote, Jr
