Nellie Dexter Bordeau TEXAS CITY — Nellie Dexter Bordeau, 78, of Texas City and formerly of La Marque, passed into the arms of her Lord Monday, February 27, 2006, at Heritage Danforth Gardens Nursing Center in Texas City. Mrs. Bordeau was born November 16, 1927, in Eunice, Louisiana. She was a former member of the First Christian Church of Texas City. Mrs. Bordeau is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Rose and Ennis Hernandez, II of Houston, Texas; sons and daughters-in-law, Ron and Teresa Bordeau of Hearne, Texas, and Dexter and Linda Bordeau of El Lago, Texas; five grandchildren, Shane Bordeau, Chad Bordeau, Ricky Bordeau, Antonia Hernandez and Charles Ament II; three great-grandchildren, Sean Bordeau, Julie Bordeau and Justin Bordeau. A visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, March 3, 2006, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., at the James Crowder Funeral Home in La Marque. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 4, 2006, at 3 p.m., at the funeral home, with the Rev. Goodluck Okotie-Eboh officiating. Burial will follow at the La Marque City Cemetery.
