Richard, you sent two Cyr males: Jean Cyr b. 1711 and Pierre (2) Cyr b 1678. Is there a family connection between these two? Also, you mention Ambroise Martin dit Barnabe married to Anne Cyr b. 1706. This Martin family was the first one that I worked on, before I knew how important it was to record sources. I don't have my source for this but I have that of the 9 children you mentioned, the first 4 (Marguerite, Ambroise, Joseph, and Michel) were from the marriage to Anne Cyr. The others (Pierre, Jean-Baptiste, Marie-Jeanne, Francois, and Paul) are from the marriage to Emilienne Comeau. Can anyone verify this?
