Albert L. Grace III BREAUX BRIDGE ? A Christian memorial service for Albert Louis Grace III, 63, will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Bernard Catholic Church with the Rev. Allen Breaux officiating. Mr. Grace has donated his body to Louisiana State University Medical Center in Shreveport. A native of Breaux Bridge and a resident of Lafayette, Mr. Grace died at 2:35 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 12, 2006, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette. Mr. Grace gave much of his time working at the Alleman Center for Retarded Citizens, and he was an active member of the Special Olympic Team for many years. He loved his family, and his favorite pastime was spending time with them. With a loving heart and endearing eyes of kindness, he touched the lives of many and he will be missed. He was a resident of Lafayette Rehabilitation Nursing Home. He is survived by his son, Albert Louis Grace IV of Jeanerette; two brothers, Michael Joseph Grace and wife Eleanor Myers of Lafayette and Thomas Edmond Grace of Breaux Bridge; two sisters, Andrea Grace Perez and husband Luis of Breaux Bridge and Marie Grace de le Vingne of Carencro; five nieces and nephews, Dawn Maisel Cole, Chantal Barousse Dybala, Greg Michael Grace, Juliette Bonne de le Vingne and Moises Perez; and two grandnieces, Lexi Michelle Grace and Kathryn Grace Cole. Mr. Grace was preceded in death by his mother, Anne Elizabeth Dauterive Grace; father, Albert Louis Grace Jr.; and a brother-in-law, Patrick Bon de le Vingne. The family would like to send special thanks to the administrator of Lafayette Rehabilitation Nursing Home, Alison Jorajuria and her staff, as well as to the staff at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center, for the caring support that was extended to Mr. Grace.
