See Stephen White "Dictionnaire Généalogique" p. 415: Marie Corporon, daughter of Martin Corporon & Cécile Joseph dit Lejeune married ca 1746 Honoré Trahan, son of Étienne Trahan (White p. 1538) & Francoise Roy (White p. 1425). They were exiled in Port Tobacco, MD and were there in 1763 (Jehn "Acadian Exiles in the Colonies" p. 152), Pierre is listed with them. They came to Louisina in 1769. Anne Brasseur, daughter of Cosme Brasseur (White p. 269) & Elizabeth Thibodeau (White p. 1520) was born ca 1753. This family was exiled to Snowhill MD and were there in 1763. Elizabeth was a widow and listed as "Elizabeth Brasseux" with her children, including Anne (Jehn "Acadian Exiles in the Colonies" p. 151). They came to Louisiana in 1767. Pierre Trahan and Anne Brasseaux were married ca 1774 in Opelousas. In the 4 May 1777 Opelousas census is found: Family 122 Pierre Trahant age 27 Anne Brasseux, wife age 23 Marie, daughter age 2 Nearby at Family 101 is: Honoré Trahant age 50 Marie Corpron, wife age 61.
