Hi... I have some conflicting information that I'm hoping someone can resolve. In my database, I have Rosemond LeBlanc, son of Joseph Ursin and Marie Rose (Landry) LeBlanc, born 22 May 1807 in Plattenville LA, marrying Clarisse Cleonise Aucoin, daughter of Jean Baptiste and Rosa Madeleine (Bourg) Aucoin. I show them with two daughters, Irma and Noemie, born 1837 and 1846, respectively. Another researcher has the same Rosemond LeBlanc, but shows him married to Melanie Elise Boudreaux, daughter of Jean Baptiste and Marie Rose (Benoit) Boudreaux. I initially thought that it might be a case of a first and second marriage, but the dates don't work; the Rosemond who married Clarisse Aucoin married her on 26 Dec. 1825 in Plattenville, and they were (if my information is correct) still having children in 1846; the Rosemond who married Melanie Boudreaux married her on 13 Feb. 1827 in Plattenville, and their children were born between 1828 and 1839. This leads me to believe that there were two Rosemond LeBlancs. Can anyone clarify? Thanks, Gordon
