Afternoon: In both G. M. BRAUD's work and A.J. Robichaux's work about Acadian Exiles in Nantes, Joseph CAILLOUET [Gilles Joseph [Cayouette] & Marie METOT] who married 9 Nov 1784 in St-Martin Parish in Chantenay, Fra. Elizabeth LEBLANC [Pierre & Marguarite GAUTROT]. According to the PRDH, Cert. # 245181 he was born 6 Aug 1752 in Quebec [PRDH not any more specific]. I cannot find any other records for Joseph until he is shown with Elizabeth by Robichaux and BRAUD and on his way to Louisiana aboard the Le Beaumont. My question is does anyone know how Joseph CAILLOUET arrived in France? Thanks Andy Scott
