Hi, Here is the link to our archives. Click browse and you can see all that has been posted to the list. If you see messages that you have not received please contact me at: ACADIAN-CAJUN-admin@rootsweb.com Everyone is also always welcomed to contact me at: mbousman7@cox.net . http://lists.rootsweb.com/index/intl/CAN/ACADIAN-CAJUN.html In case you don't save the link the archives can be found by going to RootsWeb mailing list index. I know that some people don't find lists that way. You might have found the list address at Yvon Cyr's site. John Fuller's mail list site or Cyndi's list. Go to http://www.rootsweb.com/ click mailing lists link at the top of the page. Scroll down, under International click Canada. ACADIAN-CAJUN is first on the list. The La-Cajun list is under USA LA. http://www.rootsweb.com/ is a good link to have bookmarked. From this page you find links to password central, where you can check which lists you are subscribed to. Also FAQs & Help-Related Resourses. That's the page that will tell you if RootsWeb is having problems etc. The home page is full of links that are useful. While I'm at it, in case you've never heard of John Fuller here is his site link: http://www.rootsweb.com/~jfuller/gen_mail.html His listings are easy to browse and include some of the yahoo groups. John volunteers for RootsWeb by contacting admins who create new lists. He contacts them and helps them work out how to describe their lists. Then he contacts RootsWeb and gives them the final version. He also adds the site to his lists and passes on the listing to Cyndi's list. http://www.cyndislist.com/ http://www.cyndislist.com/acadian.htm John also runs a read only mail list at RootsWeb: http://lists.rootsweb.com/index/other/Miscellaneous/NEW-GENLIST.html Most of the lists are for RootsWeb but there's sometimes a yahoo group in there. (And it saves wating for RootsWeb Review to see what new lists have been developed.) Thanks for your time, Margy
Hi Margy, I quess that everyone is catching their breath after the Labor Day Weekend, and getting ready for fall and (Yuk) winter. Thanks for the feedback. It seems that I have not missed any material at all. Thanks for letting me know. Andy Scott
