Hi, This place is a beautiful example of the old stone architecture seen throughout Quebec. The last owner and namesake for Moulin Michel was Joseph-Alfred Michel, the second cousin of my grandmother. Last year almost to the day, I had an opportunity to visit the mill - it was closed for the season, but the administrative staff let my mother and I tour it when we told them we were cousins. We took pictures of pictures of this Joseph-Alfred Michel and some interior shots of the building as well as exterior shots of the grounds and buildings. On weekends during the summer one can tour and have a breakfast/brunch of galettes/crepes and sausages. I hope to get back there next year when it is open. I have the lineage for Joseph-Alfred Michel - contact me offlist if you connect to this family. He descends from Joseph Michel and Madeleine Comeau's son Francois Michel m. Marguerite Pepin.
