Hello my Acadien and Cajun cousins, I just recieved my copy of the video of Against The Tide by Pat Mire and Narrated by Zack Richard. I'm so glad i spent the $30 to purchase it. I just finished watching and really enjoyed it very much. It answered a lot of questions and it gave me a greater pride than I already had of my Cajun heritage and Acadien Ancestry. I'm gonna rewind it and watch it again I would highly advise everyone to purchase and watch it. I would also like to thank the person that recommended me the movie when I posted a question months ago for a tape to make a presentation at our French Canadian Genealogicaly Society meeting. I'm their first Cajun member and I can't wait to share it. I finally found a site that sells it if anyone is interested. I recieved it in 8 days. I plan on buying acouple more of his movies.
