I find myself with several unconnected Martin lines. Could anyone help me with these, please? Group I Pierre MARTIN b 1601, m Catherine VIGEAU, They had Andree MARTIN, b 1649 and Pierre MARTIN b 1626. Andree married Francois PELLERIN. No other information about this group. Group II Barnabe MARTIN, b 1636 m Jeanne PELLETRET, b 1643 they had Rene (Barnabe) MARTIN, b 1670-71 who married Marie MIGNIER, they had Ambroise (Barnabe) MARTIN, b 1706 who married ANNE CYR, they had Marguerite MARTIN, b 1733 who married Antoine BORDA. No other information about this group. Group III Francoise MARTIN, b Saint Gabriel, Acadia m Charles SAVOIE, b 1703. I do not have Francoise's parents nor her date of birth. Group IV Marie-Madeleine MARTIN b 1729 m Amand PREJEAN. They were the parents of Marin PREJEAN b 1748 m Marie Rose BENOIT. I do not have Marie-Madeleine's parents nor her date of birth. Group V Judith MARTIN, b 1755, m Augustin Remi BOUDREAU. They were parents of Augustin, b 1782, and Anne BOUDREAU, b 1786. I do not have Judith's parents or any other information on this group. And lastly Group VI James MARTIN m Catherine HAMILTON, had Jean (John) MARTIN in 1773 who married Magdeleine TRAHAN. They had Marie Octavie MARTIN, b 1834, St. Martinville who married Joseph DUMARTRAIT. They had Leontine Marie DUMARTRAIT, b 1858, Breaux Bridge, LA and she married Homere Louis DEJEAN. Do any of these families connect in any way in earlier generations? They are all direct kin of mine and up to now I haven't been able to find more about them in early generations.
