My maternal grandfather, Louis Joseph Picard ( s/o Stanislas Picard and Irma Chenevert) was bn March 21, 1867 and died November 22, 1907 in New Roads, Pointe Coupée Parish, Louisiana. He married Marie Julie Clarisse Roy. Shortly after Louis Joseph Picard was born, his mother Irma Chenevert died and Stanislas married her sister Louise Chenevert. My grandfather's siblings (half siblings) were born from Stanislas' second marriage. They were: Etienne Picard (Stanislas Picard and Louise Chenevert) bn. 3 November 1869 I do not have much information on Etienne, I understand he died young. Landry Picard (Stanislas Picard and Louise Chenevert) bn. 17 December 1871 d. 2 March 1919 m. January 24, 1889 Valentine Knaps - They had 7 children I have quite a bit of information on Landry Picard's family, including his descendants. However following is all I have on my great aunts.
