Dont let the name Irish Town deceive you Many Acadians are buried in the St. Lawrence OToole Parish Cemetery in Irish Town, New Brunswick. Some of my relatives are buried here and some cousins still live in Irish Town. There are very many Acadians who lived and who continue to live here so that are just as many Acadians buried in this cemetery (if not more) as there are Irish. The are 370 tombstones in this cemetery. They may be accessed by going to http://www.acadian-cemeteries.acadian-home.org/frames.html Lucie LeBlanc Consentino AFC RootsWeb Administrator Acadian-French-Canadian Mailing List ACADIAN-FRENCH-CANADIAN-L-request@rootsweb.com Acadian & French-Canadian Ancestral Home www.acadian-home.org/frames.html

Over 1,000 photos of tombstones for St-Louis-de-Kent Cemetery taken by Hector Boudreau, his wife Jeanita (nee LeBlanc) and Francis LeBlanc of Moncton have been added to my web sites cemetery section. If you had ancestors at St-Louis-de-Kent, New Brunswick, these photos and all others that are already on the site, may be accessed by clicking on this link: http://www.acadian-cemeteries.acadian-home.org/frames.html Again, all of these photos should be of great help to those of you who will never get to New Brunswick but who had ancestors in that area at some point. So far, about 12,000 tombstones photos of various cemeteries have been added with more to add. This St-Louis cemetery is the old cemetery. There are two cemeteries at St-Louis. I will add the second cemetery soon.
