    1. [ACADIAN-CAJUN] Marie Gaudet, wife of Olivier Daigre
    2. Mike Daigle
    3. Hi all. I have a complet mess right now and I need a hand. I need the siblings of Marie Gaudet, born 1651, wife of Olivier Daigre, born 1643 France. Somehow, I have 2 different brothers marrying the same woman, Anne Marie Blanchard, born about 1645. She evidently has two brothers named Pierre. One is nicknamed Le Jeune and the other is nicknamed L'Aine. What does Stephen White say about these brothers? Thanks, Mike Daigle

    3. Hi Margaret - no new book. Don is talking about the English Supplement to Stephen White's Dictionnaire that has been available for some time. The corrections are available on the Web site at http://www.umoncton.ca/etudeacadiennes/centre/cor-dict.htm The corrections will not be published in a book other than updates if and whenever the first two volumes see a second round of publishing. Meanwhile, the first two volumes are still available and have not all been sold. 1. [ACADIAN-CAJUN] LeBlanc monument in Nova Scotia
    2. Lucie LeBlanc Consentino
    3. Several LeBlanc Listers contacted me last night after my post and want to make a donation for Daniel LeBlanc’s monument. I have received this address from Hector LeBlanc who lives in Nova Scotia and has been heading up the monument drive: All donations should be sent to: L'Association des Le Blanc de la Nouvelle Ecosse Inc., P.O.Box 152 Church Point N.S. B0W 1M0. They should make the check payable to Daniel Le Blanc Monument Fund. Thank you very very much. I went to the lawyer yesterday and he got some information and he told me he was going to write the lease in the afternoon. [This is a lease that will allow the LeBlanc Family Association to place the monument on the land once owned by our Ancestors Daniel LeBlanc and Françoise Gaudet.] When Relie LeBlanc of Louisiana was still alive, he had planned to purchase the land which had been up for sale. Unfortunately, Relie passed and nobody else has had the resources to take this up. However, a monument on that land is as important as anything that could be done at this point. Thanks to all of you who have responded. A little bit here and there makes great things happen. 1. [ACADIAN-CAJUN] Landry Information
    2. Pam: I do not have the dates of death of Joseph or Emethilde. Emethilde apparently died before Joseph Landry married (2nd) Odile Hebert at Abbeville on December 11, 1907 at Abbeville, LA

    1. [ACADIAN-CAJUN] CMA 2004 Family Associations need help..
    2. Lucie LeBlanc Consentino
    3. To all Acadian & Cajun Cousins – Whether or not you are planning to attend CMA 2004 in Nova Scotia, your family association is greatly in need of your contribution. The Canadian government is not being very helpful [if at all] to the family associations needing funds to be able to establish monuments to the first Acadian Ancestors or to help run the family reunions. For instance, the LeBlanc Family Association needs $1,500 to put up a stone with plaque as a monument to our first Ancestor, Daniel LeBlanc and so far they have received very little. People just don’t understand the need to support their family associations. With all of the Acadian descendants living in the United States alone, if everyone donated even a few dollars to the cause, there would be more than enough to cover some of these needs. If you can help in any way, please contact me privately. Would you please give this some consideration? Thank you.
