    3. Bev In Hebert's SW LA v 1A & DOBR v 2 there about 12 references to Joseph & Marie. There is only one of Duon. Most of the rest have a G. If Marie was born about 1750, there is no known Acadian Duon (d'Eon) to be her father!!!! She is not listed in DGFA under JB & his earliest son didn't marry until 1736. Joseph would have been under 14 when Marie was born if he was the grandson of JB!!!! Paul Le B "Beverly istre" <[email protected]> wrote: >that is my husband 's trahan line. 1. Joseph Dugan Dugon Hugon Duhon Duon ??????
    2. Paul L Le Blanc
    3. Joseph the father of Marie Dugon has all the above names. The most common on the web is Duhon (Duon) but JB Duon does not have a son Joseph. and his oldest son would have been 16 in 1730 but did not marry until 1736. The three Duon "families" that came to LA are Honore', Charles & Claude-Amable. Any body got any other?? Help, Any ideas or suggestions welcome? Could a british soldier Joseph Dugan marry an Acadian Theotiste Broussard and their children get exiled? Marie has only one reference of Dugat. Could they be Dugas? 3. Hi Jayne, I did some searching recently at the French Canadian Genealogical Society of Connecticut, which inherited the collection of Father Hector Hebert. Unfortunately, I didn't come up with any of the information you are looking for. I did find one document that confirms the birth date you have for Jean-Baptiste Hebert plus his baptism on 28 July 1737 at Grand-Pre. Godparents - Claude Landry and Marguerite Leblanc. The same document had an entry for Charles with the same parents. His birth and baptism are given as 4 October 1747 at Grand-Pre. Godparents - Joseph Hebert and Anne Marie Landry. The source document is an alphabetical listing of Acadian Heberts, the information for which was extracted from Federal Archives in Ottawa. Title and Author: Hebert Acadiens - Releve Fait Sur Les Documents Conserve Aux Archives Federales D'Otawa; Bernard Bisson, S. S. S. (906) 6 Juin 1954. Location of this source is a file folder labeled Hebert Genealogies A-Z at the French Genealogical Society of Connecticut, Tolland Connecticut. The information was extracted from that document by me on 16 November 2005 Sorry I couldn't be of more help. 3. Hi all; Hope your Christmas was as terrific as I wish your New Year to be Wondering if anyone has an actual date of death for Isabelle (Élisabeth) LEBLANC (d/o Damase and Pélagie LÉGER) m. Jude CORMIER (s/o Jean-Baptiste and Apollonie BABINEAU). I have most of their other pertinent information, but all I know about Isabelle's D.of D. is that it occurred after 1911. They are my 2nd GGrandparents. Thanks for any help, Nova --------------------------------- Yahoo! for Good - Make a difference this year.
