    3. Jackie From the date, & names I would suggest it might be Ile St-Jean, our name for Prince Edward Island. I believe Dave Hunter has the 1752 census on his website http://www.islandregister.com/ There are also partial registers for St-Jean-l-Evangeliste in Port-Lajoie, & St-Pierre-du-Nord in St-Pierre both on the Island. Also check as Mirande. The family of Joseph Mirande moves Beaubasin to Ile-Royale in 1714 DGFA v2 p 1200-1201. Ile-Royale is the "real" name of Cape Breton. See also 1752 census of Ile-Royale on Lucie's website at Laurenbec (pg 73 in my book). we have Joseph (jr) & Marie (-m- Georges Chauvin). Look for the family of their deceased brother Pierre & secondary for the other three brothers we only have 1714 census info & nothing else. 1. 1752 Census Baye des Espagnols - Jude Kendy is she Judique Guedry?
    2. Paul L Le Blanc
    3. In the 1752 census of Isle Royale, the very first entry at Baye des Espagnols is "Jean Cousin m Jude Kendy native of Boston". I believe this to be Judique Guedry d/o Paul & Anne Muis. She was born in/near Boston with her cousins Marie-Josephe & Helene while prisioners during one of the wars. See Dios of Baton Rouge Grand Pre Records v 1a p 88 for Baptisim of other two. In Census her parents would be be listed two down from them. Between them is Marie Guedry (d/o of JB (the Pirate) & Madelaine Mius) a double first cousin to Judique. On the same page of DOBR is Judique Guiridy marriage to Jean Cousin. Two of their census listed children match two exiled to France. Anybody got anything to add or disprove this theory? 3. Hi Stanley, Anymore French names from Ft. Toulouse? I have a Louis Simar that got married in St-Landry. Opelousas on Nov. 18, 1788 to Marie-Rose Trahan, an Acadian. This Simar was born in Charlevoix, Qc and I wonder how he got there. Was he in a Militia or an adventurer?
