    3. ÉLISABETH THIBODEAU, b. 1717; m. CÔME BRASSEAU; b. 1712. Élisabeth Thibodeau is on the Acadian Memorial mural depicting the "Arrival of the Acadians in Louisiana". She also has a speaking part, telling about her experiences from the time of the deportation until her arrival in Louisiana. She is someone that all Thibodeau(x)'s should be very proud of. 2. My uncle, now in his eighties, was diagnosed with Charcot Marie Tooth (CMT) Syndrome about 12 -15 years or so ago. It manifests iself, for him, in his left leg, which is greatly weakened and essentially collapses on him. When he was diagnosed his doctor suggested he advise his nephews that it is an Acadian genetic heritage disease. I also recall reading about a Seminar at Nicholls University in Thibodaux, La, toipic being Acadian Genetic diseases of which CMT was one. Best wishes to Augie. 2. I'm trying to find out if any of the Acadian families deported from Acadia used the surname of Rochelle or used the "dit name" Rochelle in their name? Perhaps once in Boston or the Carolinas or Louisiana they dropped the family name and stuck with just Rochelle. I'm trying to locate the family of my GGGrandfather Casimere Rochelle who died in Bridgeport CT in 1863. If his trade is any help he was a saddler. Ed Hagerty Monroe, CT

I looked Copenhagen up and it sits on a loop [route that is not even numbered that I could tell] south and slightly east of Columbia, La. I was attempting to learn something about it. Has anyone else ever heard of this little town? It is still there according to the maps that I looked at. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Andy Scott
