    3. Brick wall ( maybe, kinda, sorta) Many say that they can trace back to Daniel Leblanc ( founder of the Leblanc line), but then his lineage stops. They can find his arrival record and his second marriage but that's it. Has anyone gone further back? 1. Imaginary Ancestors of Daniel LeBlanc
    2. Paul L LeBlanc
    3. Daniel has many "imaginary" ancestors. He is NOT of the House of Blanc - (Rene Blanc) He is not the illigimate son of the Scot Sir William Alexander the younger. No basis other than wishful thinking. Most of the church registers before 1713 were lost the six times we changed hands. What we know in the 1671 census his reported age of 45 thus born abt 1626. In the same census his oldest child Jacques is 20 thus implying they were married before 1650. The theory I like is they married in France before coming over with his father in law Jean Gaudet. This explains why Francoise 1st husband name is unknown.
