    3. Quite a lot of Acadians, by the time of the Expulsion, had descended from men (and/or women) who moved from the Canada colony (now Quebec province) to Acadie. I'm an Acadian descendant of one such man, who came here to Acadie as a privateer, working out of Port Royal, and married into the Acadian community: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Guion_Guyon-3.
