We share things that may help some of us but not all of us. Just delete if not interested. Yes, But we help "All Early French in North America" and anyone who shares records with us in all our homelands. Just because it is not an Acadian family name does not mean they don't share our ancestors. We have blended with many others. In LA we will help Early Germans, Creoles, Spanish Cajuns & "les Americans" that marry our daughters. In the Maritimes we help our Mac cousins. For example, A Spanish Cajun Romero both maternal grandparents were Boudreauxs. Only a few of us, like my Grandfather, were 100% Acadian. His wife had two Quebecois lines & a handfull of German Coasters but was over 95% Acadians. I have three king's Daughter in my dozen founding mother's of Quebec. Hope this helps explain the freedom we were looking for when we founded our list. We try & help everyone. -----Original Message----- However the filles du Roy were not Acadian...?
