    3. I'm not sure if I can reply to this - just wondered if we are related? My 8th great-grandfather was the Acadian Jacques LeBlanc, born 1651. Son of Daniel LeBlanc and Marie "Françoise" Gaudet/Godet. 3. Welcome new found cousine I have two lines from Jacques 13 lines from his brothers 5 from his stepsister Marie Mercer If you have any other Acadian lines we are usually related over 100 ways Now the question is how close. Where were your ancestors ancestors exiled to? Where did they settle after? What was the last of our homelands your family lived? For example mine were exiled to both France & Maryland. They came to the Acadian Coast of Louisiana and settled in Assumption (civil) Parish In 1908 my grandparents each went to New Orleans where the met(?) & married. I was in St-Bernard for Hurricane Betsy. In 2005 I evacurated for Hurricane Katrina to Ascension (civil) parish & ended up settleing here. -----Original Message----- From: Cynthia Stark via ACADIAN <acadian@rootsweb.com> I'm not sure if I can reply to this - just wondered if we are related? My 8th great-grandfather was the Acadian Jacques LeBlanc, born 1651.
