Acadian Memorial Foundation Annual Membership Meeting Rescheduled Join us at the Memorial on July 19, 2017 at 4pm as wewelcome Dr. Michael Martin, Director of the Center for Louisiana Studies at ULLafayette, during the Acadian Memorial Foundation`s Annual MembershipMeeting.   Dr. Martin will speak on thelatest research and publications on Acadian history, after a short businessmeeting. A reception follows the meeting and presentation. NOTE:   The meetingwas postponed in June due to the arrival of Tropical Storm Cindy. Membership in the Foundation is open to anyone interestedin the Acadian Memorial or the Cajun-Acadian culture.  In addition to his work with the CLS, Dr. Martin is also Editor of the LA Quarterly of the Louisiana Historical Association and Publisher of UL Press.  The Acadian Memorial and its Museum are municipally owned and operated by the City of St. Martinville, with support from the AcadianMemorial Foundation.
