Is it time to retire: from work or genealogy? Retired from income producing activities; volunteer and research is never ending! Who am I? Marie Mathilde Bousquet Anderson (Teal) I was born in Houston TX, we live outside Boerne TX My parents are from LA, Mother born in Ponchatoula, moved to NO when she was 8; Daddy born in NO both in 1906 Mother's father was French/English; through his line I am in Mayflower Society, Daughters of Confederacy & DAR. Mother's mother is French/English and Acadian; through her line I am in Magna Charta, DAR, Huguenot, Colonial Dames of America (and 17th Century), Daughters of 1812 and Daughters of Confederacy. Daddy's father is French & French Canadian (settled in NO and Biloxi) Daddy's mother was 1st generation Irish decent. My brother did Y and Mitochondrial then we both did autosomal. My daughter recently did autosomal. My brother and I both show 42% Irish My mother, grandmother and then my sister did quite a bit of research. I have inherited their research and am trying to put it in order for future generations. My sister printed books on mother's lines and daddy's. Brick Walls? Oh yes! Always looking for "cousins" willing to share documentation. Glad to invite anyone to view my Ancestry and welcome help/hints and requests anyway I can help.
