I have done Family Tree DNA, Genes for Good, and Ancestry Any other Genealogical projects you are working on? no What else would you like us to know? I grew up not knowing my father or his side of the family, but always knowing who he was. Of course, by the time I got the courage to call him and face the music, he has passed. I have 2 step sisters who want nothing to do with me. I really would like to explore that side of the family and get to know them. DNA has opened some doors with the family, and for that I am grateful. I've also discovered that while I never felt like I fit in when I lived in Laplace because I didn't bear a Cajun name, I have since come to find out that I am related to almost everyone there. I too, as I read in another post, somehow missed Guidry as being related. Good thing I left to find a fresh gene pool!!! What family associations do you belong to?
