Thanks for the corrections None of my families ever left Assumption except for trips to the Justice of the Peace in Thibodaux when the couple was to closely related to marry in the church. (And my family moved to New Orleans in 1908) So the (Civil) Register books are like the Assumption Marriage Book I have cited. Small reminder - rootsweb rules say no prices. -----Original Message----- From: Nancy <[email protected]> Paul, The price for the journal is the 4 issues per year bound together. That is anywhere from 250 to more than 300 pages. The first year we only published 3 issues therefore it is less expensive. The price is correct - $30.00 for a years' worth of Terrebonne Life Lines. You said we continued the Church Register books from 1902 - 1946. We were not able to get access to the church register books. These are public records, the later years are marriage records. From 1926 forward Assumption Parish marriages are included also. Thanks for the plug. Our new website is still in the baby steps of getting up and running. Nancy L.
