    1. [ACADIAN] Care of your Cast Iron Cookware
    2. Paul L LeBlanc via
    3. Care of your Cast Iron Cookware One of the things we in Louisiana share with our cousins in Nova Scotia is Cast Iron Cookware. Do we also use them in our other homelands? Southern Living Magazine ran the 11 Commandments of Cast Iron Care on Page 105 of the October 2014. For some reason the article is not yet in their index. Check your library or email me at [email protected] for a copy. (thanks Eula) In the 70s, I got chicken fryer and was later given my sisters, 2 six inch fry pans, after she passed. In my Final Instructions, all three will go to her daughter or her daughters. Maybe then she will be old enough to appreciate them.
