Hi y’all… I have a connection in my database that I’m beginning to doubt — I had Elise (Lise) Landry, who m. ca. 1824 to Onesime Hebert (Agricole/Helene Prejean) as the daughter of Agricole Landry and Marie Christine Labauve. I have a birth record that I thought was hers: LANDRY, Louise (Agricole - of Vermillion & Christine LABAUVE) b. 18 March 1806, bt. 12 April 1807 Pats: Joseph LANDRY & Marie MELANCON; Mats: Jean Baptiste LABAUVE & Francoise BROUSSARD; Spons: Joseph LANDRY & Lise LABAUVE. Fr. Gabriel ISABEY (SM Ch.: v.6, #382) But the more I look, the more I’m finding that the only indication that Louise and Elise/Lise are the same person is the similarity of the names. I can’t find any documentation that they’re the same person. Does anyone have support for this? Or disproof? thanks, Gordon
