:) We don't either but those same areas show up in other's DNA tests that connect to Rocky on the Ancestry page I have for him. I told him some of his French ancestors were either fighting with the Scots and Irish against the English or the Irish were fighting for the French and took a little trip to France to see the scenery. Who knows what his German Folse/Foltz was up to. I know one thing for sure. His parents would not be happy with this DNA test. His dad was very upset with me years ago when he told me he was French and I told him yes but not totally. Then went on to show him where he connected to the German Folse/Foltz family. Ireland 42% Italy/Greece 36% Iberian Peninsula 11% Great Britain 6% Europe East 4% Europe West 1%. Considering his heritage I thought his Iberian Peninsula DNA would be more. Lona
Well Rocky was right. Well thanks Roberta for the explanation. There are almost no (if any) en France French in the standard database so cannot have a French percentage. I wonder who else is missing. This may work OK if you do European, African, Asian percentages. Probably can not differentiate Asian from Amerindian. This is the reason that we see over & over the claim that Daniel LeBlanc is an Irish Alexandrer. The Folse were Germans recruited by/for John Laws Louisiana company after The french could not provide enough colonists Law expanded his recruiting to most of mainland Europe. Any and all were accepted all you had to do was become Roman Catholics. Anyone have much info on the Hungarian Gypsies that settled on the Mississippi gulf coast. For the Folse see Albert Robichaux German Coast Families p 176-179 -----Original Message----- From: Lona Boudreaux :) We don't either but those same areas show up in other's DNA tests that connect to Rocky on the Ancestry page I have for him.
