Wuerttemberg, Germany located near Lake Constance. Konstanz is south of large city of Stuttgart. I received this info from Mr. Earl F. Sundmaker, Jr. of the German-American Cultural Center in Gretna. He found his name listed as Johann Jean George Kerner. I had George's birthplace as Briscaut, Germany, Dioceses of Constance. Earl could not find city named Briscaut. In Jim LeBlanc's email to me and copied to you Aug 9, 2014 he says Breisgau is a region not a city. (as in Freiburg im Breisgau). Let me know if you want me to find and forward Jim's email of 8-9-14. I will also try to find my email to you of 8-1-14 if you do not have it. In that email are a list of Parish Key numbers for Konstanz that I received from Earl. I did not have any success with them.
