Morning: Both are good questions; however, I have no good answer to either at this time. Olidon died in 1916 as we know. Marie Delphine Frederick his first wife is buried at St Mary Magdalen Cemetery in Abbeville and I believe he is buried there; A few years ago when I was able to do so, I walked several cemeteries and I found a grave at St Alphonsus with his name on it; however, I believe date on it was 1919 and I thought it might have grave of second wife Clemence Trahan. Current cemetery updates do not list the Olidon Grave, and I suspect age was finished eroding name away. I have not been able to talk to lady at St Alphonsus about records due to her illness. I am told that a new lady at St Alphonsus has taken over the records area, but works only in the mornings, and I hope to find a time to go and visit with her. m -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Cecil Van Duzee via Sent: Monday, July 13, 2015 10:48 PM To: acadian Subject: Re: [ACADIAN] NOTICE Mitch Where was Olidon Prejean buried? From the LDS site it seems he died at Leroy. Does he have a C.S.A. marker?
