Loris S. Boudreaux July 14, 1930 - March 18, 2010 Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at a 2:00 PM Mass of Christian Burial in Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Scott for Loris S. Boudreaux, 79, who passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 18, 2010 at Lafayette General Medical Center.Interment will be in Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery.Reverend Thomas Voorhies, Pastor of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, will be the Celebrant of the funeral Mass and will conduct the funeral services. Giftbearers will be Ella Thibodeaux and Juanita Boudreaux.Survivors include one daughter, Angeline Boudreaux; and one son, Jared Mark Boudreaux.She was preceded in death by her husband, Jordan N. Boudreaux; her parents, Gilbert and Meta Weber Sonnier; and two brothers, Wallace Sonnier and Raymond Dale Sonnier.A Native of Scott, Louisiana and resident of Lafayette for over 30 years, Mrs. Boudreaux was a loving mother and friend to all who knew her. She enjoyed crocheting and sewing. She became a world traveler as she traveled throughout many European cities. Mrs. Boudreaux was a devoted Navy wife for over 20 years. She had a very deep appreciation for the United States military. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. The family would like to express their appreciation to Ella Thibodeaux for her care and companionship. Also, the family is indebted to her sister-in-law, Jude "Judy" Guillory for her unrelenting care.Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Guillory, Jake Guillory, Chet Boudreaux, Caleb Gaspard, Colin Sonnier and Wayne Weber.
