The details http://www.mourning.com/obituaries/Pearl-Robin/#/ObitAndService Obituary for Pearl Robin Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at a 10:00 AM Catholic Service in St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Church Hall in Duson for Pearl Robin, 96, who passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 8, 2010 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center. Interment will be in St. Theresa Cemetery in Duson. Reverend Martin C. Leonards, Pastor of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Catholic Church, will conduct the funeral services. Survivors include her beloved husband of 78 years, Bennett Robin; three sons, Clayton Robin and his wife, Susan of Kentwood, LA, Larry Robin and his wife, Carol of Baton Rouge, LA and Manuel Robin and his wife, Ena of Duson, LA; seven grandchildren, Cathy Casso, Brett Robin, Shawn Michael Robin, Todd Robin, Cole Robin, Milly Roger and Karen Credeur; ten great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Madeline Robin; one granddaughter, Madeline Stoute; and one sister, Hazel Pitt. A native and resident of Duson, Louisiana for over 96 years, Mrs. Robin was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother and friend to all who knew her. She enjoyed cooking and entertaining family and friends and was a faithful member of the St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Catholic Church Community. Mrs. Robin and her husband, Bennett celebrated their 78th wedding anniversary in February 2010 and were honored by Governor Bobby Jindal as the longest married couple in the state of Louisiana. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Pallbearers will be Todd Robin, Cole Robin, Brett Robin, Wade Robin, Elliot Roger and Blake Credeur. Honorary pallbearers will be Sean Robin, Cori Casso and Karli Roger. A Rosary will be prayed on Monday, August 9, 2010 at 6:00 PM in St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Church Hall in Duson. The family requests that visitation be observed at St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Church Hall in Duson on Monday, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and will continue on Tuesday from 8:00 AM until time of services. The family would like to give special thanks to the nurses and staff of Magnolia Estates, Our Lady of Lourdes and all the friends who visited and cared for Mrs. Robin during her time of need.
