I am researching two people from c. 1800 Louisiana. I think the names have been Americanized or something. The names are as follows: DETRESSE, Evan (possibly DUTRESSE?) LEFAIBRE, Claudio Epiphanio "possibly DeFeuvre"? Any ideas as to how they may have changed? Thanks, Marsha
